Fireworks

We are almost a week into November now, the hype of Halloween has dropped and so has the temperature but guess what? It’s Bonfire Night so despite the bitter cold bite in the air, tonight is the perfect excuse to wrap up all warm and snug and head out with friends to experience the spectacular colours and sparkles of a beautiful fireworks display.

Bonfire night commemorates the anniversary of when Guy Fawkes plotted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605 and to celebrate there are many fantastic fireworks displays held all over London. Here are some of our top places to watch them:

Alexandra Palace Firework Festival
We love this highly popular festival for its magnificent panoramic views of London, which acts as a backdrop amongst the spectacular display. Tickets include entrance into the funfair where you can experience some street food as well as entrance into the Craft Beer Village. So if you want to truly get into the spirit and experience all the fun of Oktoberfest and fireworks then we would highly recommend this event which will be taking place this Saturday 7th. For more information just head over to: http://www.fireworks.london

Harrow Fireworks Display
If you fancy dancing to some beats whilst watching the dazzling display then this might be the best bet for you. Starting early at 1pm, here you can expect to enjoy some food and a funfair as well as a great DJ set which will be taking place between 4pm-6pm on Saturday 7th November. Primrose Hill
For a more quieter and more romantic viewing of the fireworks, head over to the grand heights of Primrose Hill. Free to visit, here you will have the luxury of looking over the whole of London and watching not just one but multiple displays. OXO Tower  Not brave enough to bare the cold? Head over to the Oxo tower, grab a cocktail and watch all the beauty from the comfort of the bar.

Coram’s Fields Firework Festival
If you’re looking for something a bit more central then head over to Coram’s Fields in Bloomsbury. This one’s an early one and is perfect for those of you wishing to spend the evening with your family. The event starts at 5pm on Friday 6th November and the great thing is that it doesn’t cost entry.

Crystal Palace
If you were hoping to get in on the excitement tonight, then head on over to Crystal Palace where they will be continuing their tradition of two shows. The first will take place at 7pm and the second at 8:30pm so don’t miss out!
