Spill the Tea - 20 questions with @itslaurenvictoria

Hi Lauren, how are you? Want to introduce yourself to the Communitea?
Hey! I’m good thank you. I am twenty-two years old and I’m from Norwich in the UK. I’m also a beauty and lifestyle blogger.
How long have you been blogging and what was your first blog about?
I’ve been blogging since June 2015 so over four years ago now. My first blog post was about wedding guest outfit ideas which is so different to what I post about now.

What does a normal day look like for you?
A normal day for me is getting up early to begin work, I usually like to take a walk in the morning before I get started as I work from home as a social media manager and having that chance to get out of the house is so important for me. Once I’ve had a busy day of working, I’ll usually then like to unwind and relax for the rest of the evening either with my family or my boyfriend. I like to try to find a healthy balance between working hard and relaxing.

What’s the favourite thing about your job?
I love being able to help small businesses grow and being part of their journey is such an amazing feeling. I also love creating content. Being creative is one of my favourite things!

Who are your favourite people to follow?
I love keeping up to date with my fellow blogger friends. It’s just such a nice way to stay in touch and see what they’re up to. It’s like catching up with old friends you’ve known forever and I really do enjoy their content too.

If you could only use one social media platform, which one would it be?
Instagram for sure! Because I’m apart of the blogging community I have found it to be so supportive. There’s always so much inspiration on there as well and I love being able to create content for it.

Current favourite TV show?
I recently watched Unbelievable on Netflix and it was honestly amazing. I would recommend that to anyone. It’s such a gripping series!

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
It sounds really bad but I check my phone. I like to catch up with my social platforms from overnight and in particular check my clients social media accounts so I can keep up to date with my work.
How do you like to relax?
I love grabbing a good book to snuggle down with and read or getting all my favourite pamper care products together and treating myself to make myself feel good.

Bath or shower?
I always was such a bath person but nowadays I love to have a shower. I find them so refreshing and they’re quick too.

Mornings or evenings?
Ah that’s a tough question! I would probably have to say mornings because each morning is like having a fresh start and you have the day ahead to look forward to.

Tea or coffee?
Neither! I don't actually like hot drinks. That probably makes me really weird but I'm not about that. Sorry Bubble T!

Sweet or savoury?
I’ve got a sweet tooth so definitely sweet.

Summer or winter?
Summer all the way!

Favourite Bubble T product?
The new Peach Ice Tea Shower Gel smells amazing and feels so good on the skin!
One thing you can’t leave the house without?
My phone of course. As I work from it throughout the day it’s important I have it on hand in case any problems come up and I need to deal with them straight away. It’s also good for shooting content on the go!

What’s your favourite current trend?
I’m loving all the neutral colours that are around at the moment. I think they’re just such staple colours to have in your wardrobe and fit perfect for this time of the year.

What would be the most perfect gift you could ever receive?
We got a puppy last year and we’ve been going on about getting another one for so long so it would be amazing to get another puppy so he had a little friend!

Favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Even though it’s not an every weekend luxury, I do love going out for breakfast and in particular going for some pancakes. They’re just too good!

What are you looking forward to in the coming weeks?
I’m looking forward to embracing more of autumn. I try to embrace each season that rolls around. The colours this time of the year are just so beautiful. And dare I say it? I’m looking forward to the build up to Christmas. It’s not too far away now at all!
