If you haven’t come across the blog ‘She might be Loved’ we highly recommend you check it out now. Written by red haired beauty Georgina Grogan, this blog is dedicated to an array of interesting topics such as plus size fashion, beauty, lifestyle and travelling and like many others Georgina uses her blog to explore her passions. Confident, stylish and ever so glamorous we couldn’t help but be inspired by Georgina’s charming 1950’s pin up style and had to find out some more
1. Your style is so glamorous and very 1950’s pin up, who are your style icons?
Aw thanks! I guess I just see than entire era as stylish, I love the hourglass look and showing off my curves. 1950s fashion really allows you to do that. It’s all about boobs, waists and hips!
2. It’s Friday Funday, how do you celebrate?
I like to slowly work most weekends whilst watching Netflix because I love the peace but if I’m feeling stressed I’ll often head out for cocktails or sit in the bath with a bottle of Malibu.
3. Bath or shower?
Baths, I’m part mermaid.
4. What was your favourite product from our range and why?
I love the Bath Oil Pearls I always have my water too hot so these help to not dry my legs out. They’re so cute next to the bath and really handy!
5. What inspired the title of your blog?
I like Maroon 5 and I was actually a really pessimistic person who had been single forever when I created the blog, so ‘She Will Be Loved’ turned into ‘She Might Be Loved’ and now I forever find myself hilarious.
6. Guilty pleasures?
Charmed marathons, I’ll rewatch it every couple of years with the same love I felt when I first watched it all those years ago!
7. What were you doing before you became a blogger and what made you change?
I was working in retail at Lush and sadly not really liking my life. I started a blog for a fun hobby and then after a car accident it soon became apparent that I was unfit to carry on doing my role. So, I decided to take a chance on working for myself! It’ll be two years in November and my empire is growing. The aim is a big office with cats, I now have an office and one cat….
8. Who has been your biggest influence?
I think I’m just a person who’s influenced from little bits around them, I really don’t look to one person but instead I take the parts that I like of that person and add them with other parts from other people.
9. We are all about positive vibes! When you are having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
Baths, on really bad days I’ve been known to have 3 in a day. But I’m generally a happy person 90% of the time now so I just need a fancy bath, a facemask and I’m good to go!
10. What are your beauty must haves?
Mac Diva, I am obsessed. Oh and false lashes, I really love the natural looking ones to flutter around in all day.
11. Celebrity Crush?
12. What advice would you give to aspiring plus size models?
I’m not really a plus size model despite having a couple modelling gigs so I don’t know how the whole modelling stuff works unless you’re hired through your blog. Either way, always value yourself and make sure you’re comfortable on a shoot, the end results look so much better when you are.
13. What’s the best advice you were ever given?
It was actually from a fellow blogger when I was seriously overwhelmed, she told me to not sweat the short-term stuff and focus on the long-term. Since then I’ve managed everything much better!
